Prayer to the Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit, draw me close to you.

Breathe out
Your breath
Your wind
Your fire
Over me.

Guide me
Prompt me
Lead me to take the next step.

Give me the words that you
Need
Want
Me to speak.

Gentle dove of peace, fly down over me.

Cover me with your
Protection
Love
Peace.

Bring me into communion
With you, the Holy Spirit
With God, the Father Almighty
With Jesus, the beloved Son.

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts and minds of your faithful and enkindle in us the fire of your Divine love. Send forth your Spirit and we shall be created. And you shall renew the face of the earth. Amen.
