Prayer to See Myself Through Your Eyes
My Beloved Jesus, I desire to see myself through Your eyes of Love. Please remove all lies and distortions that veil my vision of myself.
My Beloved Jesus, I desire to see myself through Your eyes of Love. Please remove all lies and distortions that veil my vision of myself.
O Holy Spirit, divine Spirit of light and love, I give myself to You; my understanding, my heart and my will.
Dear Jesus, my wonderful Counselor and Prince of Peace, heal my mind today. Be present to me now and, in Your compassion, ease my troubles and lighten my emotional burdens. I pray in Jesus' name, Amen. "Take every thought captive to obey Christ."-2 Corinthians 9:8
You are the solid foundation, My Rock upon whom I build my trust. You are steady and ever true
Heavenly Father, I believe that You are walking beside me today and, in every moment, loving me and caring for me as Your precious daughter.
Jesus, You are the Lord of all, I will seek you with all my heart. In all that I do, I want to serve you, worship you, and adore you - through my actions, words, and life.
Teach me, Lord, how to open myself to receive Your life-giving gift of Grace again and again...
Lord, we ache for heaven. We are acutely aware that this is not right. That the pain we experience is not right. That the pain we see in others is not right. The distress stirs in each of us the cry, How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every sorrow in my heart? Sovereign Lord, You take those cries. You embrace them. You cry over them. And continue to allow them. Because You have triumphed over the cause of them. Lord, stir in us a sense of Your purpose and sovereignty. So we trust in Your unfailing love; our hearts rejoice in Your salvation, that which is both now and not yet. We will sing to You, Lord, because You have been good to us. You see the pain and declare it is not meaningless. Lord, You are so good. I thank You for how You, my Great Redeemer, have been with me through all, drawing me closer into Your embrace, oh Man of Sorrows. Amen. "How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart?" -Psalm 13:2
Dear Jesus, thank You for sanctifying my thoughts this day. I give you permission to draw my awareness to any thoughts I may think today that are not of You.
I was dry bones, Lord. I was… skin and bones… nearly dead. But You have made flesh grow on me, covered me with new skin, and breathed life… Your Life and Spirit… into my bones….
