Get the Facts

1 out of 3 women is a victim of domestic abuse.

Women’s greatest risk of violence comes from intimate partners – a current or former husband or boyfriend.

Children who grow up in violent homes are more likely to develop alcohol and drug addictions.

Abuse victims between ages 35 and 49 run the highest risk of being killed.

Abusive men come from all economic classes, races, religions, and occupations. They are often seen as a “good provider” and a respected member of his church and community.

At least 5 million acts of domestic violence occur annually to women aged 18 years and older.

50% of women seen in emergency departments report a history of abuse.

Approximately 40% of women killed by their abuser sought help in the 2 years before death.

Over 10 million people per year experience intimate partner violence.

About 4,000 women die each year due to domestic violence.

Twenty people in the United States are assaulted every minute by their partners.

Fifty thousand women around the world were killed by partners or family members in 2017 alone.

One in every three women in the U.S. has been, or is, in an abusive relationship.

We are uniquely suited to address this issue and help restore the domestic church.

God designed every human to be fully integrated in body, mind, spirit, and soul. Trauma, abuse, spousal betrayal, family division
and dysfunction, sexual abuse, etc. lead to rupturing and interior disintegration.

Since 2017, You Are Made New Ministry has been delivering programs and services to individuals healing from such wounding. In 2020, we founded Hope’s Garden, a robust online women’s community, providing daily Christ-centered support for Catholic women and their families.

Our Mission

We provide trauma-informed accompaniment for Catholic individuals healing from the effects of domestic abuse, betrayal trauma, and emotional wounding. Through Christ-centered therapeutic practices, we guide them towards emotional and spiritual healing, imparting tools and skills that deepen their faith and maintain their freedom.

Our Vision

Our vision is to form a movement of healing and transformation in the Church—where men and women, freed from the wounds of the past, live in the freedom of being made new in Christ. As a result, families flourish and the Church is strengthened.

Our Impact

Women, men, and entire families are proving that the support, tools, and relationships garnered in this community help them to flourish in Christ’s love, break free of unholy patterns, and restore connectedness with each other.

I experienced tremendous healing at the retreat. You have a gift to reach people in their woundedness. Thank you for being an open vessel through which the Lord’s love flows so beautifully.

As the need for healing continues to grow, we are expanding our capacity to serve more individuals and families seeking restoration in Christ in several critical ways:

Expand Support Communities

Train and equip new facilitators for our trauma-informed, Christ-centered support groups. With an average of 14 new members joining the Hope’s Garden women’s community each month, the demand for trained betrayal trauma and domestic abuse support group facilitators continues to grow.

Strengthen Our Healing Ministry

Create and deliver ongoing training in our inner healing methods and practices. Over the past four years, our coaching team has grown significantly—from just two coaches to twelve—and we anticipate continued expansion as demand increases. This growth underscores the need for structured, high-quality training to ensure consistency, depth, and excellence in the care we provide.

Increase Access to Transformational Retreats

Offer additional Restore Retreat Intensives throughout the country. Restore retreat intensives provide each attendee with personalized attention, facilitating immersive encounters with Christ’s healing love, bringing resolution and closure to previously unresolved trauma and wounding.

Ensure Healing is Accessible to Those Most in Need

Provide scholarships for individuals who otherwise could not afford the healing services, coaching, and formation necessary for their restoration.

Partner with Us

Jesus is here in our midst, still liberating the captives, restoring sight to the blind, and healing the sick and wounded, just as He did when He walked the earth over 2000 years ago. The members of His Church are in great need of experiencing Him, given the profound brokenness of our times.

Fill out the form to partner with us! Together, we can bring Christ’s healing to wounded hearts and strengthen the domestic church for generations to come.
