Join us as we journey together through our 4-session video course, Healing Our Relationship with Self!
“Healing Our Relationship with Self” coaching groups are for anyone desiring healing in their relationship with themselves. Participants will receive instruction and coaching around key themes in the course, such as understanding the impact of unmet early attachment needs, how to correct and heal from self-critical and self-shaming patterns, reframing unhelpful inner narratives and more.
In this course, you will:
- Explore the origins of present-day habits of mind, habits of emotion and patterns of behavior and get to know your younger child self.
- Surface the negative inner dialogue that keeps you from experiencing lasting interior peace.
- Learn a simple “ABC” process for responding in supportive and helpful ways to difficult emotions, repeating patterns and ‘stuckness’.
- Learn a 4-step process for making reparation with yourself when you have been self-critical, harsh, or self-condemning.
- Spend time listening to your little child self and identifying attachment wounds.
- Reflect with scripture meditations and experience the Lord’s living, loving, healing presence.
- Includes several guided mediations o help you pray, visualize, and move through healing encounters, such as:
- Establishing an “anchor place” for you and the Lord to work with the little child parts of yourself
- Resting in the love of God the Father
- Receiving loving care and secure attachment from two healthy parental figures
Meet Your Facilitator
Dawn Vallejos
Dawn is a certified life coach and the founder of Lighten Your Life Coaching. Among other qualifications, she is an APSATS Certified Professional Coach Candidate, who helps women find hope and restoration after betrayal trauma and infidelity, domestic or sexual abuse, spousal or family alcoholism and addiction, and divorce and annulment, and the grief and loss that comes with these events. Having walked this journey herself, she understands the depth of the pain—and the beauty of God’s healing. Her work is rooted in the love of Christ the Bridegroom, offering a safe and faith-filled space where clients can experience both emotional renewal and spiritual closeness to God.
