I (De) will be speaking at the Philadelphia 2019 Catholic Women’s Conference on October 26, 2019. I hope you will come and join over 1300 Catholic women from the greater Philadelphia area for a day of fun, friendship, faith formation and prayer! The 2019 theme is “Unique and Unrepeatable: Your Mission as a Catholic Woman,” in which we explore the amazing truth that God has given each one of us a personal and unique mission, a share in His plan to save the world.

The topic of my talk is “Your Freedom & Christ’s Mission – The Essential Link.”

Again and again, I’ve witnessed the awe-striking truth that God most definitely has a very specific mission for each of us. Through personal stories and scriptures, I will share the essential connection between our freedom and the discovery of our personal mission.

In this talk, we will:

• Unpack “freedom,” and learn that our interior liberation is a process – actually a practice – that we can engage in quite intentionally.
• Reframe our trials, hurts, and adverse experiences, as the Lord’s purposeful equipping of us for mission.
• Gain understanding of the power our own thoughts have to either limit our effectiveness for the Lord or enliven and empower us for His purpose.

Let us invite the Lord to be our Guide us as we each stand firmly upon the Truth of who we are: God’s unique and beloved daughters, created with great purpose, for great purpose.
