Areas of Focus: Spiritual Coaching, Grief & Loss, Parts Work
David has training as a Chaplain and worked in hospice for over 12 years, walking with patients as they faced death and with families as they faced the loss of their loved ones. He also spent many years helping to run a shelter for homeless men who struggled with various challenges, including addiction and mental illness.
“I know from personal experience how God can transform our brokenness into a powerful blessing. I myself was crushed and in the pit, unsure if I would ever be able to trust anyone again. God did more than rescue me…. I’ve never been happier.
When we open our hearts to Jesus, it is amazing what he can do with our lives to bring healing and wholeness, restoring us in ways we couldn’t even imagine. He is happy to meet us when we are weak, marred by imperfections, weighed down by sin, confused, and even lacking in faith. Jesus very clearly says, ‘Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick; I have come to call not the righteous but sinners’ (Mark 2:17). He wants all people to approach him and to offer him their brokenness. It is through his mercy that we are transformed. I know this very personally.
I am overjoyed to be back doing spiritual ministry with people, and to witness like never before the power of the Holy Spirit at work. It’s exciting to be able to share in that work with the coaches of You Are Made New, and to help people experience deep healing.”
