SUMMARY:Body and Soul: Incarnation
DESCRIPTION:With Father Michael Stalla\nGod created us as fully integrated people with body and soul.  While spiritual things are of greater value and importance, we are not to neglect or disregard care of the body.  Respect for the body is a respect for the soul within.  Christ, becoming flesh, has raised up the dignity and reverence of the body.  We are called to love with both body and soul.\n\n\n\nA person without a body is a ghost.  A person without a soul is a cadaver.\nThe attempt to reach the soul is performed through the body.\nArt and beauty are physical realities that stir our inner spiritual life.\nWe cannot detach from the body, as if our souls can act apart from the body.\nGod became human, elevating the dignity of the human race.\nOut of respect for the incarnation of Christ, we are called to respect our bodies.\nThe body is the temple of the Holy Spirit\n\n\n\nPlease join us for this evening of live spiritual direction.  Bring your questions!\nThis workshop is free for members of Hope’s Garden and Men of Hope communities.  Want to join our Community?  Click here ( https://hopesgarden.com/join-our-community/ ) for more information on how to join us!\n
