De explores the spiritual senses, senses given to us by God to help us come to know that which is spiritual in nature, most especially, God Himself.
Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit;
to God who is, who was, and who is to come.~Revelation 1:8
Dear God, You are my Creator. You are the Master Potter and You have formed me uniquely out of the dust and in Your own image. You made me, You chose me, You know me, and You love me more than anyone else ever could. My name is written on Your heart and I am Yours eternally. Thank you for everything that You have brought into this world. You are Love; please help me to live in that same Love.
Jesus, You are my redeemer and savior. You are the Divine Physician and You make all things new. You are my friend and You not only love me, but You like me. Thank You for coming to rescue me. Your gift of salvation is undeserved and I can never repay it. Help me to live in Your grace daily and to share Your Name with all whom I encounter. I want You to be lifted high. My favorite titles for You are “the Way, the Truth, and the Life” (John 14:6). This is so clearly stated and reminds me exactly who You are.
Holy Spirit, You are my Consoler and animator. You are the Breath of Life, filling and moving all things. Come, Holy Spirit and fill me with Your wind. Please give me the right words to say in all situations and guide me to all truth. You are the ever-present Presence, sealed within my life, Who leads me to grow in Your fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, be with me, lead me, and guide me. Your Arms reach out to me, as my Father, as my Friend, and as my great Counselor. You are inviting me into Your love. Help me to step into Your arms and be loved. I want to be embraced by the freedom You offer.Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.Amen.
“Make my soul…Your cherished dwelling place, Your home of rest. Let me never leave You there alone, but keep me there all absorbed in You, in living faith, adoring You.” -Saint Elizabeth of the Trinity
