A Personal Reflection on Victory in Christ
Dear Sister in Christ,
You may be suffering a trial in your life, carrying a cross on a seemingly endless road, stuck in the thick bramble and briars of sorrow. But He walked before you, and your trial has already been won. Like His walk to Calvary, your walk through this life is finite. Your crosses are finite. Not only will they meet an earthly end, they have been won and redeemed for infinite good. Let Him lighten your burden. Whatever it is that you are carrying today, cry out in assured victory: it is finished! It is redeemed for infinite good, infinite joy, infinite love.
Jesus, I believe that You have covered every moment in time with Your healing balm of mercy. You have won the victory for me. It is finished. You died to win my place as beloved daughter of God. You suffered and died in atonement for my sin and brokenness. Your pierced side on the cross bore forth an endless ocean of merciful, healing love for me. As You prepared to take Your last breath, You knew Your divine mission had been accomplished yesterday, today, and forever.
Finished. Complete. Paid in full. Won. For me.
Beneath the weight of my earthly crosses, I hear You calling me to detach and live with You beyond the gravity of both sin and earth. Yes Lord! I want to live mystically where it is finished and where infinite graces heal and nourish my battle-seared soul. Help me to let go, to trust You more so I may soar freely in Your care. You have secured my place as daughter of the King of all creation, not after this life, but in every moment. By Your wounds I am healed. I love You Jesus and am in awe of Your Love for me! Thank You Jesus. Thank You Jesus. Amen.
