What will the Spring bring forth in me? Let me bloom Lord. Let the cold winter drive out every sadness and bitter memory.
Our spiritual and emotional wounds – be they from sin, abuse, trauma, deceptions of the enemy or other effects of life in this fallen world – are healed through a process of re-alignment with the Truth of who we are. Claiming our truest identity as cherished sons or daughters of God our loving Father, restores what was lost or stolen and facilitates awareness of our inherent wholeness.
Dear Jesus, I desire to take time each day to be still and attentive to Your abiding Presence within me. Speak to my heart Lord, I am listening. Teach me Your Truths. Help me more clearly recognize any lies I’ve been believing about myself and my identity. You say that I am Yours and I believe! Aid me in turning away from the fears and distractions and towards Your Face. In Your loving gaze I am fully seen and fully known. In Your loving gaze is my safety and lasting peace. I pray in Your most Holy Name, Amen.
Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name, you are mine. – Isaiah 43:1
