Prayer of Expectancy In Your Presence

“My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest” – Exodus 33:14

Jesus, here I am in Your presence.

I look at You and You look at me.

I have nothing to offer, except my time, my most precious commodity.

I am here, in a posture of reception, hands wide open, waiting for You to pour out Your love, mercy, patience, grace, and forgiveness over me.

To renew me in You.

Help me to love You more purely and more perfectly.

To desire to live only in Your will for me.

I gaze at You, fully present.

Body, given over for the redemption of my soul.

Blood, poured out to cleanse me of all my sins.

Soul, the same spirit that lives within me.

Divinity, the God made man, King of heaven and earth.

Creator of the universe, You look at me.

You know me.

You love me.

You choose me.

Help me to remain faithful and to await Your promises.

In Your Holy Name, Amen.
