“Wait for the Lord, take courage; be stouthearted, wait on the Lord.” ~ Psalm 27:14…
Jesus, You know each of my hurts, each sin committed against me. Pour Your Mercy out upon me that I might be merciful towards those who have hurt me. Help me to forgive so I can be freed, so I can be healed. I am ready to choose forgiveness, to make the decision to release the one who has injured me and in doing so to free myself from the chains of resentment and bitterness. Thank You Jesus, for covering my wounds with Your soothing balm, easing the pain and providing the grace I need to surrender all into Your hands. In Your Name I pray, Amen.
Use the simple prayer below to free yourself from the bond of unforgiveness:
In the name of Jesus, I forgive _________ for __________ [name the specific injury]. Repeat as many times as necessary.
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ, God forgave you. ~ Ephesians 4:32
